So for me, Anime Revolution is over (I have plans already on sunday so I will not be going), but oh what a time I had
I got to do some AMAZING shoots with and and basically spent all of friday and a good chunk of saturday hanging out with them and making cosplay/photoshoot plans.
I have to say (and I can do this because I know that neither of them are amongst my watchers) that they are pretty much my favourite cosplayers to work with (actually, all the people from FDP are pretty darn wonderful to work with, I'm just using and because they are honestly the only two whose dA names I know off the top of my head). And working with my got me thinking that there are some things that cosplayers really need to remember when dealing with photographers, especially ones who are doing full shoots
- Our time is precious too, not showing up without notice wastes time that we could be using with people who actually want it
- We are people, showing up and then demanding our work and effort before just taking off without even a thank you hurts....and it also makes us less likely to post your photos with any kind of speed.
- Doing something nice to compensate your photographer is a lovely gesture, and while not necessary it is very appreciated.
